By accessing and using Vellix Assist ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

Vellix Assist is an AI-powered Chrome extension that enhances customer support responses within the Gorgias platform. The Service provides intelligent text suggestions, grammar correction, and tone optimization while maintaining agent control over all final outputs.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Requirements

To use Vellix Assist, you must:

• Have a valid Gorgias account and workspace
• Provide your own OpenAI API key
• Complete the OAuth authorization process with Gorgias
• Maintain accurate account information

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Securing your OpenAI API keys

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use Vellix Assist solely for:

• Enhancing customer support responses in Gorgias
• Improving communication quality and efficiency
• Analyzing and optimizing support team performance

4.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works
• Use automated tools to access the Service
• Share your account credentials or API keys
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Transmit harmful code or malicious content

5. Data Privacy and Security

5.2 OpenAI API Keys

6. Service Availability and Support

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

7. Intellectual Property

7.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or input into the Service. By using Vellix Assist, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely for providing the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vellix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Third-party claims or disputes
• AI-generated content quality issues

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by discontinuing use of the Service and revoking OAuth access in Gorgias.

9.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities.

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. We will delete your account data within 30 days, except as required for legal compliance.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law
